On Thursday, I had the pleasure of chatting with John Baltisberger on his podcast, Madness Heart Radio.
On the show, we talked about my story, ‘Contaminated,’ in Madness Heart Press’ first anthology Creeping Corruption, along with my novelette, Cinders of a Blind Man Who Could See and my story, ‘Snap’ in the new In Darkness, Delight: Creatures of the Night anthology.
We also got into talking about living in different parts of the world and the effect that has had on me as a person and on my writing, as well as how running, walking and fishing are so compatible with the writing process.

I’m thrilled to announce that my story: ‘Snap’ is set to appear in the second volume of Corpus Press’ anthology series In Darkness, Delight. The first volume, Masters of Midnight, edited by Andrew Lennon and Evans Light, has been released this week, and features amazing authors, such as Josh Malerman, William Meikle, Jason Parent, Israel Finn, Joanna Koch, Billy Chizmar and many more.
The second volume, Creatures of the Night, also edited by Andrew Lennon and Evans Light, will be released on 5 August and comes with an equally stellar line-up of writers, including Josh Malerman (Bird Box), Jeff Strand (Wolf Hunt), Richard Chizmar (Widow’s Point), Mary SanGiovanni (Behind the Door), Chad Lutzke (The Same Deep Water As You), Eddie Generous (Radio Run) and many more besides.
I’m extremely excited to be part of this anthology and you can pre-order your copy on Kindle today for the crazy price of £2.99 (or $3.29 in the US) or you can wait for the gorgeously realised hardback and paperback editions, pre-orders for which will be coming soon.
